Ring cores, tips and tricks

Tips and tricks we get this question on a regular basis how do you separate the cores and do they snap together? Splitting the cores can be done with a knife blade in the seam and a slight side to side wiggle and the rings will separate very easily. Another way is to use a piece of brass or copper or even an old penny in the seam and wiggle side to side against the edges to separate the cores. Our rings are made to snap together once assembled this allows for a good fit and finish, but also to get a seam that is almost blended one against the other.
